A tablet for CZK 1 now available with every activation of T-Mobile TV

  • The offer of free HBO for six months extended until 31 August
  • An Allview Viva C701 tablet for watching TV available for only CZK 1

T-Mobile launched its new summer offer on Monday, 11 July. Customers signing a 24-month contract for T-Mobile TV by 31 August 2016 will have the possibility to purchase an Allview Viva C701 tablet for CZK 1. The operator is also extending the promotional offer of free HBO for six months as a gift, which is now also valid until the end of August.

“The TV service from T-Mobile has been activated by more than 10,000 users. Customers appreciate the possibility to choose from three plans that are differentiated by the number of TV channels and for which customers received a CZK 100 discount off the basic price, which was provided to them within the promotional campaign. Equally popular was the special offer of free HBO for six months and the possibility of watching programmes up to two days after their original air date,“ says Juraj Bóna, Vice President B2C Marketing and Product Management.

The operator now offers the Základ (“Basic”) plan that includes 71 channels (of which 11 are in HD quality) for CZK 399, the Standard plan that includes 112 channels (25 in HD quality) for CZK 499 and the Premium plan that includes 137 channels (30 in HD quality) for CZK 899. Customers can still use the extended satisfaction guarantee within which they can cancel their contract without penalty within a 30-day period.

The offer of a tablet for CZK 1 will be appreciated during the summer holidays particularly by parents who can use it as an alternative TV-viewing device for their kids. The Wi-Fi Allview Viva C701 tablet features a 7" screen, easy navigation and user-friendly interface with the Google Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) operating system.

The sale of T-Mobile TV was accompanied by a campaign based on the Innovative Care Clinic concept starring popular Czech actors Ivan Trojan and Václav Neužil. Two TV spots promoted the new form of watching TV, when customers decide for themselves what, where and when to watch, drawing attention to time-shifting for up to two days. Like past T-Mobile campaigns, the new campaign met with a very positive response, as it succeeded in attracting the public’s attention, while also confirming the long-term trend of very good delivery of the main message and the clearly highest degree of catchiness. The main TV spot “Cvičme v rytme” (“Workout to the Rhythm”) has been viewed more than 2.5 million times on YouTube.
