- One million e-mailed invoices save 468 full grown trees annually
- 15,380 kg of paper saved monthly
The modern, practical, fast and, above all, environmentally friendly method of receiving Statements of Services has already been ordered by one million T-Mobile customers. Electronic invoices help save 468 full grown trees annually, which produce oxygen for 23,400 people.
“We are glad that a growing number of our customers have been using electronic invoices. Thanks to that, we can jointly contribute to the improvement of the environment,” says Eva Karasová, CSR Manager at T-Mobile, adding: “Electronic invoices are free, transparent, safe and fast. They thus help save not only the environment but also money and time. Statements can also be easily paid using the QR code.”
One million letters containing printed invoices weigh 15,380 kg, while envelopes alone account for 4,908 kg. Customers can thus not only save space for archiving their invoices but also make their postman’s bag lighter. If laid end to end, the envelopes containing Statements sent each month would stretch from Prague to Brno (229 km). The number of sheets of paper used for one million letters per month is 2,098,750, enough to blanket Prague’s Wenceslas Square three times over.
Customers can order electronic invoices easily by visiting the My T-Mobile self-service portal or calling the Customer Centre at 603 603 603 (or the short-form number 4603 if calling from a T-Mobile number).
