Prague, 3 December – In the first week of December, 138 more communities in 42 districts of the Czech Republic will newly enjoy LTE coverage. T-Mobile is thus continuing its expansion of the country’s fastest mobile internet coverage, focusing mainly on rural areas and small towns where the 3G network is not available. However, the operator is also further expanding the LTE signal to large cities – LTE technology is now available in certain areas of Brno.

The largest number of communities newly covered with LTE are in the Olomouc, Zlín, South Moravia, South Bohemia and Central Bohemia regions, where the LTE network will now be available in a total of 87 communities, the largest number of them located in the Vsetín district (9), Přerov district (7), Blansko district (9), Pardubice district (7) and Česká Lípa district (7). Customers can now use the fastest mobile internet service in, for example, Klatovy, Blansko, Kuřim, Vizovice and Slavičín.

Additionally, the operator has begun the LTE rollout in Brno. The LTE network now covers, for example, the Jižní centrum, Černovická terasa and Brno Airport areas.

T-Mobile’s fast mobile internet service (LTE and 3G) is now available to 90% of the population of the Czech Republic. LTE rollout will continue throughout December.
