Prague, 7 October 2014 – Tomorrow marks the first year since the launch of the Kaktus brand on the market and Kaktus is therefore going to hold an on-line party on Facebook to celebrate the occasion. Kaktus fans can take part in the Mejdlo s Kaktusem (Kaktus party) competition to win a total of 60 special Kaktus prizes. The event starts at 9:00 am on 8 October 2014 and will last 12 hours. The microsite dedicated to the competition, including the mobile version, is available at www.mejdloskaktusem.cz

“We have attracted 60,000 customers in one year and have 23,118 fans on Facebook. We could not possibly have let this occasion pass without a proper celebration,” says Michal Podlucký, Kaktus Brand Manager.

The competition rules are simple: at the top of each hour during the competition, Kaktus will publish one task on Facebook. The first five participants who are the fastest to correctly fulfil the task will win a prize. A total of 60 prizes will be distributed, including Beats headphones, limited-edition T-shirts, original bags, extra furry cushions, USB sticks and other handy stuff.

Additionally, during the competition day (8 October 2014), Kaktus will double each amount of topped-up credit for those who will top up their credit with an amount between CZK 200 and CZK 500 during the period from 9:00 am to midnight.

The competition kicks off on Wednesday, 8 October 2014, at 9:00 am here: www.facebook.com/kaktus

About Kaktus

Kaktus is a mobile operator intended for young people and it likes to do things its own way. It distinguishes itself primarily by providing friendly customer care on Facebook and offering data services under attractive conditions. It offers free Facebook access to its customers and listens to their wishes communicated via this social network: for example, it organised a gathering of fans called Coffee with Kaktus. One of the outcomes of the gathering was a data bundle aimed at moderately discerning users.

Unlike other operators, Kaktus provides its services mainly to internet users and communicates with them informally, the Kaktus way.
