The operator is offering bigger data volumes also to prepaid Twist card users
Up to four times more data for the same price; the price for 1 MB up to 75% lower
Three new one-month bundles; two existing one-day and one-week bundles remain on offer
On 11 June 2017, T-Mobile will amend its offer of data bundles for prepaid Twist card users, who will thus be able to choose from three one-month bundles that include up to four times more data for the same price as compared with the existing variants. The new offer partially mirrors the data bundles intended for contract customers using the Mobil tariff plans.
"Data consumption by our customers has been growing and we want to structure our offer to accommodate this trend", says Juraj Bóna, Vice President B2C Marketing and Product Management at T-Mobile, adding: "We have therefore significantly increased the data allowances available with our new-generation Mobil tariff plans and are now introducing an attractive offer for users of our prepaid cards."
The offer intended for Twist customers has been expanded to include three new one-month bundles. Instead of the existing 500 MB variant priced at CZK 299 and the 1.5 GB variant priced at CZK 349, T-Mobile offers prepaid card users 400 MB for CZK 99, 1 GB for CZK 199 and 2 GB for CZK 299. For the same price, customers will thus receive up to four times more data (2 GB for the price of CZK 299 instead of the original 500 MB). The existing one-day bundles for occasional use of mobile internet (25 MB for CZK 24) and Twist internet na týden ("Twist Internet for a Week") with 60 MB for CZK 49 remain on offer. Twist customers can activate the bundles from 11 June 2017 via the My T-Mobile self-service portal, by sending a text message with the code stated in the table above to 4603, at the T-Mobile Customer Centre or at T-Mobile shops. Information will also be available on the website at www.t-mobile.cz/balicky. Customers can use the data available under these bundles also while travelling in the EU countries, under the same conditions as in the Czech Republic (within EU Roaming without surcharges).
The operator no longer offers the Twist internet na týden+ (Twist Internet for a Week") and Twist internet na měsíc+ ("Twist Internet for a Month") variants that included unlimited access to social networks because they were not compliant with the net neutrality regulation. Users of these bundles will be given sufficient notice of the time of their discontinuation and the operator will provide them a new offer. The other existing bundles remain valid but can no longer be newly activated.
