Rock for People exclusively with T-Mobile

  • 15% discount on tickets for T-Mobile customers until 2 July
  • T-Mobile Zone – recharging corner, free wi-fi, internet café, Game Zone

Prague, 26 June 2012 – For this year’s edition of the Rock for People music festival, T-Mobile has prepared discount on tickets for its customers, a special T-Mobile Zone, festival lockers, free internet, scooters and a lot of other benefits and services. The 18th annual festival will again be hosted by Hradec Králové and from 3 to 6 July it will feature such acts as Faith No More, Franz Ferdinand, Skrillex and The Prodigy.

“This is the fifth year that we have continued our partnership with the biggest Czech music festival as well as our tried and tested activities at the venue,” says Markéta Vychytilová, Senior Head of Sponsoring at T-Mobile, adding: “This year’s hot innovation is a special internet café, where everyone can place their orders by means of tablets running on our fastest 3G network.”

More than two thousand T-Mobile customers have already used the opportunity to purchase a ticket for Rock for People with a 15% discount. The last stragglers have until 8:00 a.m. on 2 July. Compared to the standard price of CZK 1,600 for the entire festival, T-Mobile customers will pay only CZK 1,360. All they need to do is visit the website at www.t-music.cz/rfp2012 and purchase a Mobile Ticket (“Lístek v mobilu”). The ticket price can be paid by bank card or by m-payment. After making the payment, a QR code will be sent to the customer both via MMS and to a selected e-mail address. At the entrance, they can produce the code directly in their handsets or on a printout of the e-mail.

Those who visit the Festivalpark in Hradec Králové can look forward to a brand new T-Mobile Zone. On the ground floor, visitors will find a Game Zone with Xbox 360 + Kinect consoles. The very popular handset recharging corner, which has been expanded again compared to last year, is also situated in the Zone.

The upper floor will be reserved rather for relaxation. A brand new service is a special internet café, which will allow ordering via a tablet and T-Mobile customers will be able to pay for their purchased refreshments by m-payment directly from their mobile phones. Notebooks with internet access and free wi-fi will also be available at the café. An entertaining 3G game focused on mobile internet has also been prepared, with interesting prizes for participants. And for those who would like to get some movement, scooters will be available for a ride through the premises.

Nor has T-Mobile forgotten about festival lockers in which visitors can store their valuables. The lockers will be available in front of the entrance to the venue and are free for T-Mobile customers, while others will pay a token fee of CZK 50.
