Prague, 30 November 2009 - T-Mobile is improving its message-recording services. Beginning on 2 December, callers no longer need to worry whether they will manage to get connected with a called person who is temporarily unavailable. As soon as the called person's mobile phone can be reached again, the operator will send the caller a free information text message. This new service is available if both the calling and the called persons are T-Mobile customers.

It has happened to everyone at least once - you were trying to call someone but that person was temporarily unavailable. From now on, you no longer need to apply the trial and error method, attempting to make the call again and again. As soon as the called person, or more precisely his or her mobile phone, is registered in the network again, the caller receives an information text message notifying him or her that the person they were trying to contact is available again.

The text message is sent from the caller's phone number. It is also delivered if the initial call went to the voicemail box or MMS voicemail courier. Text messages are always sent with a slight delay after the mobile phone is registered again in the T-Mobile network. This reduces the probability that the called person will again be unavailable, e.g., when travelling on the underground.

The information text message reads as follows:

"Dear customer, phone number '+420603123456' you failed to reach is again available. You can attempt the call again. This SMS was sent to you free of charge by T-Mobile"

This new service is free of charge both for the calling and the called persons. It is available to all users of message-recording services: Missed Calls Register, MMS Voicemail Courier and Voicemail Box. If customers do not use these services, they will not receive any information text messages. Message-recording services can be easily activated either on the internet under My T-Mobile or by calling T-Mobile's Customer Centre at 4603.

If customers do not wish callers to receive information about their re-registration in the T-Mobile network, they can deactivate the provision of information on availability via My T-Mobile or the Customer Centre.
