T-MOBILE IMPROVES OFFER FOR STUDENTS

  • Two new student tariffs for new and existing customers up to 27 years old
  • Data limit 6 GB or 16 GB
  • 100 minutes, unlimited SMS and 6 GB for CZK 425 per month

After the September launch of the new tariffs with a big data volumes, T-Mobile is launching an offer for young customers. Starting tomorrow, it offers two improved tariffs for all students under 27 years of age. Like the new generation of tariffs, it provides customers with a large amount of extra data.

With the Student tariff, customers get 100 minutes, unlimited SMS and 6 GB of data for CZK 425 per month. Compared to the current form, young customers will receive 4 GB more, while their monthly spending will increase by a negligible CZK 26.

Young people cannot imagine their existence without the Internet and therefore T-Mobile has also improved the Student DATA tariff for them. Its main advantage is 16GB of data plus 100 minutes and 100 SMS to all networks. All this for 575 crowns. So far, Student DATA costs CZK 499 with 10 GB of data.

"Tariffs for young customers have been one of the most popular T-Mobile offers for a long time and are used by 10% of our customers," says Michal Podlucký, Head of T-Mobile Resident Customer Management, adding: "Students are data-intensive customers. It was confimed by our summer campaign ‘Neomezene leto’, when almost all young customers took advantage of our unlimited data offer.”

From 28 November 2019, new youth tariffs can be purchased in all standard sales channels or on the special website www.t-mobile.cz/student. Both tariffs meet the conditions for inclusion in the Magenta 1 family solution, which means that customers will receive even more advantageous prices.

In order to conclude a contract with students, it is sufficient to present a document proving that the user has not yet celebrated his 27th birthday (the operator does not require an ISIC card). In the case of customers younger than 18, the contract can be concluded by their legal guardian after having submitted the child’s birth certificate or another document proving the child’s age and identification.
