T-Mobile opens its redesigned data showroom

T-Mobile invites all customers and partners to visit the revamped data showroom at the operator´s headquarters building in Prague´s Roztyly district.

  • More than 10,000 people have already visited the data showroom

Prague, 27 March 2012 – T-Mobile invites all its customers and partners to visit the revamped data showroom, allowing them to become familiar with T-Mobile products and services and giving them an opportunity to try them first-hand. The redesigned premises are located next to the T-Mobile shop at the operator’s headquarters building in Prague’s Roztyly district. 

“The main objective is to acquaint not only business customers but also ordinary users with our products and services and present them in an attractive and modern form,” says Zbyněk Valášek, who is in charge of the data showroom, adding: “Relocating the data showroom and connecting it with the T-Mobile shop has really brought us close to our customers.” 

Visitors to the data showroom can view and get a hands-on experience of most of T-Mobile’s products. In addition to a display of handsets and internet-access devices, the data showroom offers live demonstrations of the operator’s comprehensive services, such as ProfiNet, satellite T-Mobile TV, ADSL, Premium Voice Line, applications for bulk messaging, colour lines, partnership solutions, applications for smart phones. The portfolio of these services will soon be extended to include also ICT and cloud computing services. 

The data showroom also features a closed intranet with internet access, allowing demonstration of integrated services in the real-world environment to business customers. This year, the offer will be expanded with education courses on smart phones and internet use for senior citizens. 

In the past year, more than 540 presentations, consultations and demonstrations, including those for journalists, were given in the data showroom. The total number of visitors exceeded 10,000. 

T-Mobile’s data showrooms were first opened in 2003 in Prague and Ostrava, the key idea being to not only show services in real time to business customers, but also to give all customers an opportunity to view the whole portfolio of mobile telephones and data devices as well as the administration interface and administration of more complex comprehensive solutions. The data showroom is the only place where customers can see partnership solutions in operation.
