T-MOBILE’S LTE NETWORK COVERS 100 MORE COMMUNITIES

Between the beginning of September and the middle of October 2014, T-Mobile expanded its LTE coverage to 100 more communities in 27 districts of the Czech Republic.

Prague, 16 October 2014 – Between the beginning of September and the middle of October 2014, T-Mobile expanded its LTE coverage to 100 more communities in 27 districts of the Czech Republic. The operator is thus continuing with LTE rollout in rural areas and small towns, focusing on areas where the 3G network is not available.

The newly covered communities are located in the districts of Benešov, Beroun, Kladno, Kutná Hora, Prague-East, Prague-West, Příbram, Rakovník (Central Bohemia), České Budějovice, Jindřichův Hradec, Prachatice, Strakonice (South Bohemia), Domažlice, Rokycany, Tachov (Plzeň region), Karlovy Vary (Karlovy Vary region), Louny (Ústí nad Labem region), Česká Lípa, Semily (Liberec region), Jičín (Hradec Králové region), Chrudim (Pardubice region), Havlíčkův Brod, Jihlava, Žďár nad Sázavou (Vysočina region), Brno-Province, Břeclav (South Moravia region) and Frýdek-Místek (Moravia-Silesia region).

The largest number of communities covered with the LTE signal are in the Rakovník (12), Strakonice (9) and Rokycany (7) districts. Residents of, for example, Lužná, Krušovice, Všetaty, Drachkov, Volenice, Hrádek or Volduchy can now also enjoy the country’s fastest mobile internet experience.

By the end of October 2014, T-Mobile plans to cover another nearly 180 communities in rural areas with its LTE network.
