Prague, February 17, 2020 – T-Mobile launches marketing support for unlimited data tariffs. This is a follow-up to last year's introduction of the new generation of tariffs and the Christmas campaign. This time, it will highlight the unlimited mobile data and the freedom it brings to customers. The data freedom campaign starts on February 17th and runs through March 31st this year.
T-Mobile was the first operator to offer unlimited data at a reasonable price. To date, more than 180,000 customers have used them, it represents a quarter of the total customer base.
"Although it may seem unlikely, many people still do not know about unlimited tariffs or think they are pointlessly expensive," says Michal Podlucký, Head Head of B2C Segment at T-Mobile, adding: "We want to show the freedom, which unlimited data can deliver and we want to ensure all customers they can change their plan whenever they need.”
T-Mobile will also draw attention to the ease with which unlimited data can be turned on in My T-Mobile. It's really "one-two". Customers don't have to worry about activating unlimited internet and using it forever. In the new tariffs, they can change their data volume every month, either up or down. And thanks to the Magenta 1 family solution, they can have unlimited data starting at CZK 506 per month, along with unlimited calling and SMS from CZK 806 per month.
The campaign will appear on TV, online media, social networks and T-Mobile brand stores. The TV section will include spots in length of 40 seconds and then 30 seconds. For the second time, T-Mobile will use the radio spot format for selected podcasts. The creative agency is Saatchi & Saatchi. The TV spot was directed by Jasmina Blaževič and the production was provided by Bistro. MediaCom Prague prepared mediaplans.
Already 40% of residential T-Mobile customers have switched to the new tariffs launched since September 2019. A quarter of them is using unlimited data. The average data consumption of this user group is around 17.5GB per month.
