Hradec Králové, 30 August 2001 - Managing Director of RadioMobil, Mr Roland Mahler, today ceremonially started the main part of the construction of the new Regional Centre of RadioMobil (RCR).

By the end of June, a building with four above-ground floors and one underground floor will grow in the Hradec Králové part generally known as Aldis. The total floor area of the building will reach 12,000 m2. After the completion of the construction a Paegas InfoCentre and one of the companys information technology centres will have their seat in the RCR premises.

Paegas InfoCentres provide information, advice and services to the existing as well as potential Paegas customers. They work non-stop 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Every day they process on average 40,000 different requests. There are two regional infocentres at the moment - in Prague and Louny. "The continuing growth in customer numbers and the effort to offer higher and higher quality of services were the reasons for building another, a third, infocentre," says JiĹ?í Hájek, RadioMobils Corporate Communication Manager. Nearly 500 employees will work in the Hradec Paegas InfoCentre after its completion, especially infoline operators and team co-ordinators.

An IT operation department and a large software development department will be part of the RCR. From the very beginning, the Centre will be equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and software and its technological premises will provide maximum security for the operation of key systems. The IT Centre will offer employment to a hundred of technical specialists, especially IT specialists, system integrators and programmers.

The RCR will thus offer 600 new jobs within two years, especially to secondary school and university graduates.

Along with the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone also a new website was put into operation today. From today, all interested people can thus learn more about the new project of the RadioMobil Regional Centre in Hradec Králové and its current status at www.paegas.cz/HK.
