Technical complications have occurred since the end of August, resulting in diminished availability of the Pevný internet (“Fixed-Line Internet”) service for activations and changes to settings, as well as in the area of troubleshooting. The problems originated on the part of the supplier of fixed-line access for T-Mobile – CETIN – whose statement is provided below:
In the period between 26 and 29 August 2016, Česká telekomunikační infrastruktura a.s. (CETIN) performed an extensive upgrade of its business and operational systems. As planned and announced in advance, the following week the upgraded applications were unavailable to business partners. Beginning on 5 September, operation of the systems resumed and is being stabilised. The performance parameters of the applications are being actively monitored and fine-tuned and minor failings are being fixed. The stabilisation phase is expected to be completed by the end of September. The current operation should no longer have any adverse impact on end customers of our business partners. CETIN would like to thank all of its business partners for their patience and to apologise to end customers of its business partners if they were affected by the situation due to a delay in the activation or change of the service.
