Prague, 27 February 2014 –T-Mobile’s March offer has a sporting spirit. The operator will offer to its customers a “pocket trainer” – the Premium version of the popular Endomondo sports application free of charge for one year. When extending their contracts, customers will also have t possibility to purchase one of two selected models of HTC handsets with a CZK 1,000 discount. Customers that buy sports equipment at any Hervis shop will be surely pleased by the 20% discount on their purchases.

“We want to promote sports in March and customers will again benefit,” says Dana Tomášková, Vice President Resident Marketing at T-Mobile, adding: “The application dedicated to the Sochi Olympic Games, which was downloaded by nearly 300,000 users, was intended to help customer root for their team and favourite athletes. Now we want to motivate them to do something for their health with the help of their smartphone and mobile internet from T-Mobile.”

The operator has not forgotten about those who need our help. Therefore, it has prepared a challenge called T-Mobile: For a Good Cause. If the operator’s customers and employees hit the one-million-kilometre mark together using the Endomondo application by walking, running or some other athletic activity, T-Mobile will donate CZK 1 million to disabled and disadvantaged children to support their sporting activities.

In March, T-Mobile customers can obtain a unique key for activating the Premium version of the Endomondo application on the website at www.t-mobile.cz/nasim. The standard price of this version is CZK 689 for the Android operating system and EUR 26.99 for the iOS operating system; however, the operator’s customers will have an opportunity to use it free of charge for one year. With more than 20 million users worldwide, Endomondo is one of the most successful sports applications (to date, it has been downloaded by approximately 200,000 users in the Czech Republic). This ideal “pocket trainer” features a number of handy functions: for example, it records the user’s time, speed, distance and route on a map and calories burnt during training, prepares a customised training plan, maintains a training log, including statistics and detailed analyses, and enables comparison with other sports enthusiasts within the Endomondo worldwide social network.

Customers will have a possibility to download the Endomondo application on a new smartphone, as T-Mobile will again be offering discounts on handsets, this time from the HTC brand. The HTC One and HTC Desire 500 will be available with a CZK 1,000 discount if customers extend their contracts with any tariff plan at any T-Mobile shop or via the e-shop. When visiting a shop belonging to the Hervis retail chain during March, customers can make use of another benefit within the Našim pro radost (“Treat for Our Customers”) program – a 20% discount on all sports equipment.
