Changes in the Executive Management Board of T-Mobile Czech Republic and Slovak Telekom

  • Juraj Bóna to become Commercial Division CZ Director

Prague, Bratislava, March 1, 2019 - The Executive Management Board of T-Mobile Czech Republic and Slovak Telekom will be effective in new structure and different functions of several top managers since 1st March 2019. Both companies will not apply the current business model of dividing B2C and B2B activities to separate divisions on the top level anymore.

First of all, the Division of customer experience and transformation will be created and its aim is to combine know-how from federal experts in several areas. The customer focus is the most important motto and we will follow it in the future transformation of the company and our portfolio. This division will be considering customer already in the first phases of developing the products, leveraging power of digital and big data. Operating on the federal level, many synergies can be applied in the field of access, content or enterprise services as well as ICT solutions for our large customers. This division will be managed under the leadership of Peter Škodný (former B2B and ICT Executive Director for CZ and SK).

Furthermore, in every country there will be standalone Commercial division that will focus on pricing, retail, sales, customer services, marketing and external communication in Czech and Slovak markets. The Commercial divisions will be responsible for both B2C and B2B areas under the command of single executive officer. Commercial Division Czech Republic will be led by Juraj Bóna (currently B2C and FMC CZ Director, who will become the member of the executive management board as of 1st March 2019. Dušan Švalek (currently, B2C Executive Director for CZ and SK) will take over the comparable position in Slovakia.

All other divisions will remain focused on their current areas: technology, finance, HR, Legal and Corporate Affairs.

Juraj Bóna (1974) graduated from Faculty of Economy informatics of Economic University in Bratislava. He started his career as an auditor and account manager in Ernst & Young in 1998. In 2016, Juraj Bóna became Director of Marketing and Product Management for Consumer Segment in Slovak Telekom a T-Mobile Czech Republic.

I am proud of achievements T-Mobile did in the last years, mostly in area of attractive fix and mobile offerings for our customers. We will build future movements on this solid background; our priorities will be to bring the fastest mobile and fix internet to most of the Czech households and address major customer requirements and expectations from modern telco operator“, comments Bóna his plans.
