Pavel Henke named Vice President Wholesale at T-Mobile

Prague, 27 November 2012 – Pavel Henke (38) was appointed to the position of Vice President Wholesale as of 1 December. The Wholesale Department that he will lead was established as part of the new segment structure and it will begin full operation from 1 January 2013.

Pavel Henke has a degree in telecommunications from the Czech Technical University in Prague. He started his career at Aliatel a.s., where he held various positions, mainly in interconnection and regulation. From 2005 he worked as the Regulation and Interconnection Section Director at GTS Czech. In this position he was responsible not only for defining new conditions for interconnection among operators, but also for development of relations with operators and negotiations on lease of access networks. 

“I am very happy that I have been given the opportunity to work in such a team as T-Mobile. I believe that my experience in the wholesale market will be of benefit to the company,” says Pavel Henke.

In the course of his career, he has gained extensive management experience in the field of developing relations between operators, not only in international services, but particularly in regulation and interconnection.

Pavel Henke is married, has a daughter and prefers to spend his spare time with his family. His hobbies include activities in the mountains, both in summer and particularly in winter; however, he also enjoys high-quality theatre performances and good books.
