Rock for People at a discount with T-Mobile

  • 15% discount available only to T-Mobile customers
  • The advance sale of discounted tickets begins today 

Prague, 20 February 2012 – For the fifth time, T-Mobile, under its t-music brand, is the general partner of the largest Czech music festival, Rock for People. Just like every year, T-Mobile has prepared a present for its customers – a 15% discount on the price of a ticket for the whole duration of the festival. The advance sale of tickets at the discounted price begins today. Every user of a T-Mobile SIM card can purchase tickets in the form of Mobile Tickets (“Lístek v mobilu”). 

“Rock for People and t-music have been together for five years now and I am glad that this year will be no difference,” says Markéta Vychytilová, Senior Head of Sponsoring & Events at T-Mobile, adding: “We have always tried to bring something extra to our customers. Today we start offering the first benefit – discounted tickets – which very popular in previous years.” 

The biggest Czech open-air music event, Rock for People, will take over the airport in Hradec Králové from 3 to 6 July 2012. From today until 2 July, only T-Mobile customers can purchase one ticket each at a 15% discount as compared with prices available via standard advance-sale channels. All customers need to do is visit the website at www.t-music.cz/rfp2012 and buy a Mobile Ticket. The discounted price applies only to tickets for the entire festival. 

T-Mobile users wanting to save money on tickets should not delay their purchase. As usual, the prices will increase as the date of the festival approaches. 

Until 29 February

  • Standard price: CZK 1,400
  • Price for T-Mobile customers: CZK 1,190

From 1 March to 30 April

  • Standard price: CZK 1,500
  • Price for T-Mobile customers: CZK 1,275

From 1 May to 2 July

  • Standard price: CZK 1,600
  • Price for T-Mobile customers: CZK 1,360  

The price of the tickets can be paid by bank card (subject to a fee for card transaction), whereas the amount is deducted from the buyer’s bank account, or by m-payment, whereas the price of the ticket is charged in the Statement of Services or deducted from the buyer’s Twist credit. Upon payment, customers will receive a QR code not only via MMS but also by e-mail. At the entrance, it is then sufficient to show either the code in the handset or a printout of the e-mail with the QR code.
