T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s. received license 872 MHz frequency band.

On 26 April 2005, T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s. officially received a telecommunication license to establish and operate a public telecommunications network in the 872 MHz frequency band. "Thanks to the granted license, we will be able to cover other locations and thus offer truly fast mobile data to customers who have not had this opportunity so far," Roland Mahler, Managing Director of the company, commented on the event. The license was granted for a period of ten years and T-Mobile paid CZK 50 million.
