Prague, 20 March 2008 - Petr Dvořák (35) has been appointed T-Mobile's Executive Vice President Marketing with the approval of the company's board of directors. Petr Dvořák has worked as the acting executive vice president of the Marketing Division since the end of February, following the announcement that Executive Vice President Marketing Jiří Dvorjančanský would be promoted to the position of T-Mobile Deutschland's marketing director.

Petr Dvořák has worked at T-Mobile since 2001. He had previously worked for Nestlé and Lybar. Mr. Dvořák has held various positions at T-Mobile, having begun work for the company as the Twist brand manager, after which he was the Vice President Consumer Marketing. He most recently served as Vice President Category & Product Management.

His biggest successes so far are, in his opinion, his long-term successful work for T-Mobile, and the fact that he survived a marathon. "Both of these activities require endurance, experience and thorough preparation; mere theoretical knowledge is not enough. I am very glad that I could integrate all the knowledge, skills and experience gained at the previous stages of my studies and career into my work for T-Mobile," says the new Executive Vice President Marketing, adding: "My main objective in the new position is to contribute to T-Mobile's becoming the clear, undisputed leader in the Czech mobile communications market, and at the same time to satisfyingly harmonize my career and my family life."

Petr Dvořák was born in Děčín in 1972. He studied at the University of J.E. Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem. He is currently enrolled in an MBA program. He speaks English, German and Russian and enjoys endurance running, cycling and mountain biking, in addition to spending as much time as possible with his family. He is married and has two children.
