T-Mobile is changing the prices of international calls and text messages to EU countries. For prepaid Twist-card users, the operator is also reducing prices to other than EU numbers

Prague, 13 May 2019 – In response to a new EU regulation, T-Mobile is amending the price list of calls made and text messages sent from the Czech Republic to foreign numbers within the European Union with effect from 15 May 2019. At the same time, the operator is unifying the prices of international calls and text messages of post-paid and prepaid services. Users of the prepaid Twist card will now make calls and send text messages for the same prices as contract customers, with the per-minute calling rate being reduced to CZK 5.89 and the price of a text message being set at CZK 1.86. In addition to that, the operator is also reducing the prices of calls and text messages to non-EU countries for prepaid card users.

Reduction of prices for prepaid Twist-card users also to non-EU numbers

Thanks to the unification of the prices of calls and text messages for contract customers and prepaid-card users, Twist-card users can now call from the Czech Republic to non-EU European numbers for CZK 12/minute and to the rest of the world for CZK 30/minute from the middle of May. “We have used the change of the conditions for international calls to EU numbers for overall simplification and unification of the price list for calls and text messages to the entire world. Customers can thus look forward to more attractive prices, which will surely be appreciated by everybody who frequently communicates with foreign countries,” says Juraj Bóna, T-Mobile Chief Country Officer for the Czech Republic, commenting on the amendments of the price list and adding: “Prepaid Twist card users can now make calls and send text messages for more attractive prices also to the rest of Europe and the world.

In order to improve its customers’ awareness of the aforementioned changes T-Mobile has also launched a website dedicated to the regulation of international calls and text messages, which also includes an FAQ section. The website is available at www.t-mobile.cz/mh.

The changes will not affect roaming conditions in any way. If customers are abroad, for instance on holiday, they will continue to make calls, send text messages and use data under the same conditions as at home.
