Two competitions to win a total of seven devices

Prague, 20 October 2014 – The new iPhone has finally arrived in the Czech Republic. T-Mobile will offer it to its customers for prices starting at CZK 16,999 in the case of the iPhone 6 16 GB version. Sales will kick off at midnight on Thursday, 23 October 2014 in Prague and Brno. The operator has prepared a midnight competition to win two iPhone 6 16 GB handsets at each of the two shops. However, Apple fans can order their dream device with a tariff plan via T‑Mobile’s e-shop from 00:01 a.m. on Tuesday, 21 October; the handset will be delivered to their home address after 29 October 2014 (the actual delivery date will depend on the date of delivery from the manufacturer). The numbers of individual models available for the sales kick-off have not been confirmed yet by the manufacturer as of the date of issue of this press release. Another three iPhone 6 devices will be available for winners of a Facebook competition.

“T-Mobile naturally wants to enable diehard fans to purchase this brand new device. This time they can order it before sales even begin. We will organise a midnight promotional event again this year that will feature the actors from the commercials and will also include a competition to win attractive prizes,” says František Mala, Resident Segment Director at T-Mobile.

The Best for our customers

Apple fans who cannot come to one of the shops at midnight on 23 October and prefer to make the purchase from the comfort of their homes or who just want to increase their chances of getting a phone can order the new device three days earlier. The operator has prepared online presales of the iPhone 6 with a tariff plan via the e-shop, which will be launched as early as Tuesday, 21 October 2014, at 00:01 a.m. Customers can purchase a maximum of two devices per person with a tariff plan. The offer is valid while supplies last.

More information is available at www.t-mobile.cz/iphone-6. In view of the anticipated demand for these models and their limited number, the operator advises prospective buyers that its systems (including the e-shop) will be shut down during the weekend of 24-27 October. More information can be found here.

Competitions

The T-Mobile shops at Prague’s Národní třída and on Brno’s Náměstí Svobody will be open for the midnight sales event and fans really have something to look forward to. Competitions to win two iPhone 6 16 GB handsets will be held in both cities, with tasks that the contestants must complete inspired by the Our Class promotion campaign. The competition will be monitored by a special application. In Prague, the prizes will be handed over and the first device sold by Pavla Tomicová, the actress who plays the wife of the teacher Radim in the T-Mobile’s TV commercials. Both shops will offer waiting customers classic homemade schnitzels and warm tea; in Prague, the distribution of refreshments will be organised by the student Karel, aka the Schnitzel. Additionally, the operator will make the waiting more comfortable for fans by offering them camping mats to sit on and blankets.

An attractive competition has also been prepared for fans on Facebook. The competition to win another three iPhone 6 handsets will be launched on 21 October. Contestants will be requested to complete interesting tasks to test their dexterity.
