T-MOBILE REDESIGNS THE T-MUSIC PORTAL

Clearly arranged screen when accessing the portal from a computer, mobile phone or tablet
Attractive, comprehensible and streamlined design

Prague, 5 December 2013 – The t-music portal operated by T-Mobile has been completely revamped. The operator decided to redesign the portal’s entire concept so that it would correspond fully to modern trends. The website has been in use in its original form for more than four years, during which it had previously undergone only a few minor design and functionality modifications.

“The new t-music portal will always be displayed in such a way that it is user-friendly and uncluttered, regardless of whether customers open the website on their computers, smartphones or tablets,” says Markéta Vychytilová, Head of Sponsoring and Events at T-Mobile, adding: “We have thus eliminated one of the weaknesses of the previous version.” Since in approximately 12% cases, the portal is accessed via mobile phones and tablets and that percentage has been growing, this is an important step in bringing customers an attractive, comprehensible and streamlined design.

T-Mobile has focused mainly on the most popular sections, such as Magazín (Magazine), t-music chart, Databáze interpretů (Artist Database) and Speciální akce pro návštěvníky (Special Events for Visitors) featuring competitions, concerts, etc., and has removed the least used functionalities. The operator plans to supplement t-music with sections and services that will make the design and content of the portal even more attractive for customers.

The t-music portal was launched in 2002. Since then, nearly 7,000 articles have been published on it and 540 competitions organised, in which more than 90,000 portal users took part. The portal now has more than 170,000 registered users.
