T-Mobile's Data Showroom celebrates its fifth anniversary

Prague, 22 April 2008 - Many customers are quite anxious when buying telecommunications services: Am I buying a pig in a poke or not? How does it actually function? Will the handset I selected from a catalogue suit my needs? T­-Mobile answers these and similar questions through its Data Showroom, where potential customers can get detailed information about specific services and try them out thoroughly. The Data Showroom is located at T-Mobile's Prague headquarters in Roztyly and its services are completely free of charge. About 2,800 corporate customers and 4,500 individuals used these services during the Data Showroom's first five years.

T-Mobile's portfolio of products and services has been continually expanding and it is therefore necessary to offer it in a well-arranged and simple format. As the Data Showroom helps ensure that transparency and simplicity are truly inseparable from T-Mobile's offer of products and services, it was completely remodeled on the occasion of its fifth birthday. The room was enlarged, completely modernized and adapted to visitors' needs.

The Data Showroom serves corporate clients in particular, but many individual customers with both pre-paid and post-paid services as well as T-­Mobile employees have been taking advantage of the services it provides. Each presentation is focused on visitors' specific needs and is provided completely free of charge.

Everything can be tried out under real conditions, whether it is the new T-Mobile services or the numerous partner solutions. Needless to say, there is also the possibility to check out and test the currently offered mobile phones.

"We have seen long-term enthusiasm about mobile data connection, so it comes as no surprise that the current big hit is the presentation of Internet 4G, the high-speed internet access solution. And there is one thing we are particularly happy about: the number of visitors coming from places outside Prague has been steadily growing, so it is no longer just Prague residents who are learning about our services," says Pavel Dolejš, Vice President Non-Voice and Value Added Services Sales at T­-Mobile.

Presentations of partner solutions relating to logistics and car-fleet management are also very keenly followed, as are the SMS Connect service and the BlackBerry solution, while detailed information on products is eagerly sought by customers intending to buy a smartphone, an MDA, or a notebook bundled with a data tariff plan. The Data Showroom has a clear purpose, which is to demonstrate to customers all of T­-Mobile's hot products and services and to satisfy their curiosity to the maximum extent possible.
