T-MOBILE TO CONTINUE PLANNING AND BUYING MEDIA THROUGH MEDIACOM PRAHA

T-Mobile Czech Republic has finalised the selection of an agency for planning and buying media.

T-Mobile Czech Republic has finalised the selection of an agency for planning and buying media. The winner of the tender organised in cooperation with partners from the Deutsche Telekom international telecommunications group is MediaCom Praha, a member of the GroupM media network. Beginning on 1 January 2018, MediaCom Praha will continue its cooperation with the operator, which has been continuously in place since 2005.

The tender was organised jointly for 13 European subsidiaries of Deutsche Telekom with the aim of introducing an innovative and progressive operation model for paid media activities. The change is necessary for the group to future-proof its media operations and defend and strengthen its leadership position in response to the ongoing digitisation of the marketing communications and media ecosystems. To ensure flexibility, each of the group’s subsidiaries will retain responsibility for implementation of activities in the individual areas in a way that fulfils the local needs and required levels of services.
