T-Mobile to launch EU Roaming without surcharges on 11 June

Customers will use their mobile services throughout the EU in the same way as they do in the Czech Republic
The service is automatically available to all customers not using any alternative roaming offer
EU Roaming without surcharges has been part of the new tariff plans since 2 April

On Sunday, 11 June 2017, T-Mobile will introduce EU Roaming without surcharges for its residential and self-employed customers. Within the service, customers can use mobile services such as calling, texting and multimedia messages and data in all EU countries under the same conditions as in the Czech Republic. T-Mobile fully abides by the legislation in force, and therefore roaming without surcharges applies also to data bundles and data allowances purchased in the course of a billing period. Implementation of roaming for the price of domestic calls will begin for business customers with a Framework Agreement or Important Customer Agreement on12 June.

T-Mobile was the first operator in the Czech Republic to offer its customers EU Roaming without surcharges as part of its new-generation Mobil tariff plans, which were introduced on 2 April 2017 and new tariff plans intended for business customers, which were launched one day later.

The new roaming add-on also applies to prepaid cards; prepaid Twist card users therefore can use their mobile services throughout the EU under the same conditions as in their home country. However, the rule according to which only free units to all networks can be applied while roaming is still in effect, i.e. free units to the domestic network will not be applied while roaming.

To keep its customers better informed, T-Mobile has launched a website dedicated to EU Roaming, which also includes a FAQ section. The website is available at www.t-mobile.cz/roaming-EU for residential customers; business customers can find relevant information at www.t-mobile.cz/EU-regulace.
