High-speed mobile internet is now available to 87% of the residents of Olomouc. New as well as existing clients can also try this new service free of charge. When ordering the Surf+ or Surf&Mail+ add-on, contract customers can browse the internet for one month free of charge. For users of prepaid Twist cards, the operator has prepared a free two-week trial of the Twist Surf+ service. The offer applies to the first activation of these bundles.
T-Mobile uses the Nokia Siemens Networks technology based on the HSPA standard, which theoretically enables download speeds of up to 14.4 Mbps.
This summer, 3G services will also be extended to other regional towns. Residents of Pardubice, Ústí nad Labem, Hradec Králové, Liberec, Ostrava and Karlovy Vary will enjoy fast mobile internet access by the end of September. In total, thirty major towns in the Czech Republic should be covered by the end of this year.
