t-music presents a concert by Billy Talent

Prague, 26 May 2008 - t-music is bringing another top band to play in the Czech Republic. The increasingly popular Canadian band Billy Talent will perform in Prague on Monday, 23 June. And from 23 May, T-Mobile customers can also enter a competition at the tmusic.cz portal for 50 tickets to the concert. In addition to this, eight people will also be given the opportunity to meet the band in person.

Billy Talent performed in Prague last year in support of My Chemical Romance. This time, they will be the headliners of the event. They will perform at the Incheba Aréna (previously called Malá sportovní hala) in Prague's Holešovice district.

Thanks to t-music, all TMobile customers have the opportunity to win tickets to the concert by answering a simple question available at www.t-music.cz/billytalent. Those entering the competition will be asked to choose one of three possible answers and send it as an SMS with SOUTEZ<space>TALENT<space>A (or B or C) to 4616. The SMS is priced according to the customer's tariff plan. Participants in the competition can send the answer more than once; the more text messages they send, the greater their chances of winning a prize.

The prizes are truly fabulous: twenty-five people who provide correct answers will win two concert tickets each. And this is not all: eight of these winners will also have a chance to meet the members of Billy Talent in person. The competition runs until 6 June and is open only to T-Mobile customers.

Even before the Canadian band arrives in Prague, its fans can tune up their mobile phones with the band's songs. T-Mobile's digital music e-shop, t-music PLAY!, provides for download not only the band's biggest hits but all their albums. Ringtones and Caller Tunes are readily available at t-zones.

Billy Talent have been playing together for fifteen years. According to the official records, the band's members include two Poles, one Indian and one francophone Canadian. However, all of them consider Toronto, or rather its suburb Streetsville, to be their true hometown because that was where they started their career in 1993 under the name Pezz, which they later changed to Billy Talent.

The band's first album, titled simply Billy Talent, was released in 2001 and was followed in 2006 by Billy Talent II. The album, which has since gone multi-platinum, brought a number of terrific songs such as "Devil in a Midnight Mass", "Fallen Leaves", "Red Flag", "Surrender" and "This Suffering"). Thanks to these and other great tracks, the band has gained millions of new fans around the world, including the Czech Republic.

Billy Talent will share the bill with their special guests, the hardcore punk band Anti-Flag, one of the best-known and hardest-working groups in the genre. Their music is based on simple but powerful, stirring melodies and a distinct bass line, while the lyrics of their songs are both intelligent and very passionate.
