Pilot project kick off in November for 10.000 customers

Prague, November 3, 2014 – Mobile T-Mobile TV, a new service of digital TV for mobile devices, is being brought to T-Mobile customers actually. New service will thus enable the access to the favorite TV broadcast from everywhere and anywhere. The pilot project will be provided for free and is going to be kicked off during the month of November 2014. The service will be available to clients using some of actual post-paid T-Mobile tarifs. The mobile app supports the standard iOS platform, including latest iPhone 6 devices and Android system.
The programme package available within the new service includes ten selected programmes for the pilot operation. The new service will be available through data transmissions within the mobile network or Wi-Fi and other connections even from outside of the T-Mobile network. The allocation of two devices to each user account will be available, e.g. one tablet and one mobile phone.
What exactly does the new service bring?
The digital television enables to follow TV programmes on the mobile device directly as a live broadcast or a recording up to 48 hours retroactively and to store the recorded boradcasts for up to seven days. The new service at the same time enables the programme suspension, central storage recording, programme wizzard function (EPG) and the parents lock. It involves for the time limited videorental shop which will gradually grow up along with the programmes offering expansion within the commercial operation.
