Prague, 7 March 2013 - Lukáš Hrabal (35) joined T-Mobile's Corporate Communication Unit on 1 March.In his role as a Senior External Communication Specialist he will, among other things, act as a deputy press spokesperson of the company. Lukáš Hrabal succeeded Jiří Janeček, who left the company in mid-February this year.
Lukáš Hrabal (35) graduated from the Faculty of Forestry of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague in the field of landscape engineering and from Jaroslav Ježek Higher Specialized School in text and script creation. He was previously employed with T-Mobile (formerly Paegas) in 2001–2004 as a mobile portal editor. From 2004 he worked as a freelance PR specialist and copywriter, when his clients included a number of leading companies (Siemens, ČSOB, ČEZ, etc.).
"We are very much looking forward to our cooperation with Lukáš; it will not be easy for him but I believe that he will be able to withstand the strain of our all-female team. I appreciate his experience as well as his creativity and sense of humour," said press spokesperson Martina Kemrová, commenting on the new member of her team.
Lukáš Hrabal is married with two children aged six and one. In addition to countless corporate texts, he has also written the lyrics to a number of songs. The most famous performers of his songs include Marta Kubišová, Helena Vondráčková and Hana Zagorová. Lukáš has also won several song-writing awards as a lyricist, such as EvropaHit 2006 – Cena Svazu autorů a interpretů (Association of Authors and Performing Artists Award) and the silver "Dětská nota" award (children's music award) for 1999, 2006 and 2012. He is also the author of several "One-Minute Plays" for Czech Radio. His numerous hobbies include travelling, mountain trekking, playing piano, fishing and wine.
