The background of the most valuable telecommunications brand in the world and the strength of the brand provide a lot of synergies to the Czech T-Mobile, which help to fulfil its strategic goals. For example, as part of the group’s overall activities, it has achieved carbon neutrality in its own operations, becoming the first multinational telecommunications service provider in the world to do so. The Czech T-Mobile followed up on this success with a local victory in the TOP Employers study, which it won for the eleventh time in a row in the telecommunications category.
" This year as well, we are focusing on network infrastructure and innovations that, thanks to our global background, we often bring to our customers as firsts on the market. We continue to consider digitalization and the availability of a high-quality and reliable network as one of our key priorities. How crucial connection is, is shown by unexpected situations, which we unfortunately can see both at home and abroad. The customer remains at the center of everything we do. We wońt stop," said Melinda Szabó, CEO of T-Mobile Czech Republic and Slovak Telekom.
Alongside our customers
T-Mobile was the first mobile operator to respond to the Middle East conflicts, providing all its customers in conflict-affected areas with 30 days of free data to stay in touch with their loved ones. At the Jizerská 50, it once again brought unique technologies and a rich supporting program and focused on recycling. MAGENTA TV was dominated by music thanks to the Music Box Hits, Dance, and Classic channels, including its own MAGENTA Music, as well as a Valentine’s Day offer and a new Sports section. Viewers were also delighted with the re-inclusion of TV Paprika, and not only children were pleased with the addition of Disney+.
The Magenta Moments program brought Easter fun and digital gift cards from partners of world-famous brands such as LEGO, Adidas, IKEA, OMV and Zalando. The operator enabled customers to transfer eSIM, making it easier and faster to transfer it to a new phone. To quickly resolve issues with rented routers, it launched free express delivery of replacement devices within one hour in select cities.
In the B2B area, T-Mobile has once again scored in the field of 5G technologies. These now help CZU measure the carbon footprint of the university campus and also run the Open 5G Hub Brno at the Brno Exhibition Centre, where a new test zone for smart solutions of the future has been created.
The operator also continued with topics related to security. Experts from the T-Mobile Security Operational Center drew attention to a significant increase in incidents, the most massive DDoS attacks and its growing intensity. After all, the company has been involved in education and awareness on this topic for a long time.
