With effect from 1 February 2018, Jiří Vacek (48) has been appointed Human Resources Director at T-Mobile Czech Republic and Slovak Telekom. Uršula Kráľová, who has held the position to date, remains in Slovak Telekom Group and will be in charge of the segment of service and product development within the B2C division.
Jiří Vacek has more than twenty years of experience from HR management positions in the Czech Republic and abroad. After finishing his studies, he worked in the HR area at Walter Czech Republic and Sagem Czech Republic. From 2001to 2017, he worked at Nestlé, first as HR Director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, then as Regional HR Director at the company’s headquarters in Switzerland and in Italy. In the last year, he focused on his own company, HR ONE.
The new HR Director wants to focus primarily on internal and external strengthening of the strong employer brand of both companies and on building a flexible learning organisation.
Jiří Vacek is a graduate of the Pedagogical Faculty of Charles University in Prague and earned his MBA degree at Institut Francaiş in Prague. He speaks English, Italian and French. He is married with two children. Jiří Vacek enjoys spending his free time practicing sports (skiing, beach volleyball) and travelling.
