MAGENTA TV becomes a partner of the film Pět švestek, and will also offer a thematic competition for customers in Magenta Moments

The partner of Jan Svěrák's new film Pět švestek is MAGENTA TV operated by T-Mobile. After today's gala premiere, the film will enter cinemas for the general public this Thursday, May 28. The cooperation also includes a competition in the Magenta Moments program for cinema tickets, themed gifts and a cruise on a catamaran for two. After its theatrical release, the film will be available exclusively in the MAGENTA TV Video Library during the autumn of this year.

The film Pět švestek is a playful and touching comedy about friendship, freedom, courage and the desire to live life to the fullest at every stage of life. It tells the story of five friends who decide to take their lives into their own hands once again and set sail on a catamaran out to sea. The main roles will be played by Lenka Termerová, Oldřich Kaiser, Petr Kostka, Dana Syslová and Jan Vlasák. The film was created under the screenwriting and directing baton of Jan Svěrák and will enter cinemas on May 28, 2026.

In the Magenta Moments section of the My T-Mobile app, there is a competition linked to the release of the film. Customers can compete for 20 packages that include electronic tickets to the CineStar cinema and themed merch. The main prize is a cruise on a catamaran from the movie for two worth CZK 40,000. After the end of the theatrical release, the film will be available exclusively on MAGENTA TV this fall.

"The partnership with Pět švestek is the first collaboration of this kind for us. With it, we are continuing our efforts to bring viewers not only exclusive TV content on MAGENTA TV, but also unique and unusual experiences through the Magenta Moments customer program, in which 1.92 million users have already registered," says Daniela Zahradníková, TV Content Manager at T-Mobile Czech Republic.
