On 15 February, T-Mobile will present a new concept for its advertising campaigns. After four years, Ivan Trojan will be replaced by Kryštof Hádek and Veronika Kubařová, whom viewers will see in the cosy Růženka (“Rose”) mountain hotel. One of the other roles will be played by Jiří Langmajer.
In the campaign, which is currently in production and is set to run from 15 February to 15 March 2018, the operator will present a new principle of offering its mobile and fixed-line services for residential customers. For this purpose, it will use the couple Kryštof Hádek and Veronika Kubařová playing a young husband and wife who buy the Růženka mountain hotel. The roles of their employees are played by Jiří Langmajer (maintenance man, driver), Anastázie Chocholatá (waitress) and Ctirad Götz (chef).
“We will be introducing a completely new principle of offering our services to our customers, therefore we have opted for communication within a completely new advertising concept,” says Jan Stanko, Vice President Marketing Communication at T-Mobile, adding: “We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Ivan Trojan for the fantastic four years during which we jointly received a number of awards for our TV spots. It was a great honour for us to work with Ivan.”
During the upcoming campaign, TV viewers will see the first 50-second TV spot; an extended version of the spot has been prepared for the internet. The spots were directed by Juraj Janiš, an experienced director whose résumé includes, for example, campaigns for such brands as Kofola, Pilsner Urquell and Visa. The man behind the camera was Filip Marek. An interesting fact is that the spot was shot using special Panavision cinema lenses, whose use in the world of advertising is rather unusual, at least in the Czech Republic.
