Podcast Mezi svými was launched at the end of 2024 with the aim of connecting the world of technology with everyday life in an understandable and human way and bringing important topics closer to the general public in an educational way – not only the heavier technological ones, but also working with the customer, with employees or the social one. During the thirty episodes, it featured a number of inspiring guests from the ranks of T-Mobile employees and the external sphere – experts, representatives of the non-profit sector and public figures, including journalist and presenter Nora Fridrichová, DVTV co-founder Martin Veselovský, Chairman of the Czech Telecommunication Office Marek Ebert, Slovak singer Adonxs, director of Díky, že můžem Bára Stárek or Richard Valoušek from the Raul! agency, which stands behind Jizerská 50.
"Podcasts have changed the way we consume content – their boom also brings very specialized topics. This is an amazing space to create a valuable source of information with a deeper view of the issue – authentic and informal," says Patricie Šedivá, Head of Communications and Spokesperson at T-Mobile, adding: "For the 30th episode, we have given our podcast Mezi svými a new visual form. We put more emphasis on the visibility of guests and the presenter, more distinctive colors and less text." The new visual style was created in cooperation with the Procraston agency.
The podcast is hosted by presenter and actress Anita Krausová, who opens up the topics of digitization, cybersecurity, the future of work, mental health, sustainability, social responsibility, as well as customer care, sports and music. In some episodes, she was replaced in the presenter's chair by experienced radio and podcast presenter Jitka Kostelníková.
From the beginning, professionals from the Storylab studio, specifically producers Damian Machaj and Hana Němečková, have been involved in the production of the podcast. According to them, the podcast has found thousands of regular listeners over the course of its existence, with YouTube being the strongest platform, followed by Spotify and other podcast apps. "From the point of view of production, it is clear that Among Their Own has found its audience. Among the most listened to episodes with an external guest is the episode with Bára Stárek from the initiative Díky, že můžem, and the episode dedicated to employee education with Petra Růžičková, an employee development expert at T-Mobile, among the internal guests. It shows that listeners are interested in both a broader social overlap and specific topics from the corporate environment," add the Storylab producers.
