Croatia is no longer one of the most sought-after countries for summer holidays. This was shown by an internal analysis by T-Mobile. Last year, within the EU, customers most often went to Germany during the summer months, which improved year-on-year, and moved from third place to the lead instead of Austria. Slovenia then finished in fifth place, leapfrogging Croatia, whose popularity has been declining in recent years.
Otside the European Union, Czechs visited mainly Turkey and Switzerland, which is a frequent destination for business trips during the summer. Traditional Egypt came in third, followed by Serbia and Albania.

Roaming packages even for longer journeys
In a year-on-year comparison of T-Mobile, data consumption increased by 18% in the EU from June to September last year, and by as much as 56% outside the EU. Interest in roaming has also been influenced by the extended offer of advantageous data packages. In data zone A, which also includes the most popular destinations such as Turkey, Switzerland and the USA, customers most often chose variants with a data volume of 1 GB for 7 days or 2 GB for 30 days. Greater flexibility even for longer trips and holidays in more distant countries is offered by 30-day packages of 5 GB for CZK 549 or 10 GB for CZK 999 for the Data World A zone.
Data roaming can be easily set up directly in the My T-Mobile application, where you just need to select the destination country and select a package – even after arriving abroad. When the package is exhausted, the data stops and there is no risk of overdrawing and unwanted fees. Data packages work with all tariffs and do not require a separate SIM card. In addition, the customer can see the ongoing data consumption directly in the My T-Mobile application.
