Prague, 13 October 2010 - T-Mobile is continuing to work intensively on the roll-out of its 3G network. Beginning today, the most advanced internet service is available to customers in Přerov and Třebíč. In total, high-speed mobile internet access is now available to internet users in 21 Czech cities and towns and the 3G network now covers one-third of the Czech population.
T-Mobile launched its 3G network in January this year. The roll-out works were at their peak in summer when a record number of base stations were put into operation. Přerov and Třebíč are the two latest additions to the list of cities covered with the 3G signal. High-speed mobile internet is now available to 75% of residents in Přerov and 87% of residents in Třebíč.
New as well as existing clients can still try the new mobile internet service free of charge. When ordering the Internet v Mobilu Standard or Internet v mobilu Klasik add-on, contract customers can browse the internet for one month free of charge. For users of prepaid Twist cards, the operator has prepared a free two-week trial of the Twist Surf+ service. The offer applies to the first activation of these bundles. Thanks to a special edition of the Twist Internet SIM card for CZK 299 with a data limit of 500MB, customers now also have the possibility to try internet access in their notebooks. The price of the SIM card includes one month of free internet access and customers can top-up their credit for only CZK 249 per month until the end of the year.
High-speed mobile internet access is now available to the residents of 21 Czech cities: Prague, Plzeň, Brno, České Budějovice, Olomouc, Pardubice, Hradec Králové, Zlín, Ostrava, Teplice, Prostějov, Havířov, Liberec, Ústí nad Labem, Karlovy Vary, Karviná, Kladno, Opava, Most, Přerov and Třebíč.
