Ski jumping, the role of ice-hockey goaltender and a genuine snowball fight. Customers visiting selected T-Mobile shops during the Olympic Games can experience three different environments and roles in virtual reality.
VR Tour 2018 follows the previous events organised at T-Mobile shops in which virtual reality played the key role. Now visitors can experience typical winter activities free of charge – experience the feelings of ski jumpers when they lift off from the ski jump ramp and take off into open space, the dramatic moments of an ice-hockey final in the role of a goaltender facing a shootout or a snowball fight in a virtual arena for two players.
VR Tour 2018 has already stopped at the Chodov shopping centre in Prague and the next stops will be at the Futurum shopping centre in Hradec Králové and at AVION Shopping Park in Ostrava. Customers can test additional VR installations within the Olympic Festivals in Brno and Ostrava, where they can experience a virtual ride on a real ice track in which athletes compete to win medals at the Winter Olympics in South Korea.
