Partnership with the Czech Olympic Team concluded until 2016
T-Mobile will accompany athletes to the Olympics in Sochi and Rio de Janeiro

Prague, 6 May 2013 – T-Mobile has become an official partner of the Czech Olympic Team. The partnership has been concluded until 2016, which means that the operator will accompany Czech athletes to the Olympics in Sochi and in Rio de Janeiro. In addition to its long-time support of the Czech National Football Team, this is another significant activity of T-Mobile in the field of sports.
“The Olympics unite the whole nation, bring unforgettable experiences to fans and motivate athletes to perform their best. We similarly unite people via our services and enable them to communicate, have fun and share their experiences,” says Markéta Vychytilová, Senior Head of Sponsoring and Events at T-Mobile, explaining the operator’s decision to support the Olympic Team.

The partnership concerns primarily two top sporting events: the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia (2014) and the XXXI Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2016). As part of the partnership, T-Mobile will provide its services to Czech athletes and will prepare a whole range of activities for fans to make their experiences from the Olympics even more enjoyable.
