The new service differs from other security solutions in that it does not only work with lists of dangerous web addresses, but evaluates data traffic in real time. So it doesn't just focus on where the user connects, but analyzes the entire data stream. Thanks to this, it can identify whether the transmitted data contains objectionable content or malicious code and block it before it reaches the device. Security analytics works only with technical data on data traffic, such as the speed, type or frequency of requests, and can thus detect even complex and sophisticated types of attacks.
"Businesses today face growing cyber threats and need simple but effective solutions. Inline Security allows them to protect all corporate mobile devices without the intervention of the IT department and at the same time have an overview of security incidents across the entire mobile base," says Zdeněk Grmela, Tribe Lead Protect in the B2B division at T-Mobile, emphasizing: "The new Inline Security service fully respects the privacy of end users, as the content of the communication itself is not decrypted."
Inline Security works as an additional service to voice and data tariffs. After activating it, all data traffic is automatically routed through security elements that can detect and block potential threats in time. The customer thus receives protection when using mobile data provided directly by the operator and without any technical interventions in the device.
The service also includes continuous reporting, where the end user receives a notification for each blocked threat and at the same time has an overview of security events in the My T-Mobile application or on the My Company portal. Business administrators can monitor security across individual numbers and get reports on their protection.
The service is available for CZK 29 without VAT per month to one phone number and activation takes place immediately via the application.
