Prague, 14 March 2007 - The contest prepared at the pomahamepodnikat.cz portal, which was specially created for small and medium-sized enterprises, already has its winners. The company LAVASTA won the first prize: free use of the CarNet partner solution for one year. The second prize was won by the AQUATRAVEL agency: two 4G Combi data cards with free one-year data tariff plans. And the Kršnův dvůr organic farm took the third prize, a T-Mobile MDA, also with a free data tariff plan for one year.
The contest started last autumn. Any company operating in the Czech Republic could take part in it just by answering the following question: "What telecommunications solution would help my company most and why?" An expert jury of representatives of TMobile and the SGS company then chose the three most original answers. The contest was part of a unique project at the pomahamepodnikat.cz portal whose aim is to provide support to small and medium-sized enterprises.
"Small and medium-sized enterprises are aware of the necessity to use modern solutions and technologies, including mobile ones," says Pavel Dolejš, Vice President Non-voice and Value Added Services Sales at TMobile, adding: "However, such firms do not wish to, and are not even able to, browse hundreds of different offers, full of technical specifications and incomprehensible acronyms. What they need is to satisfy their current requirements by means of a comprehensive solution that quickly cuts costs and streamlines their internal processes."
The pomahamepodnikat.cz portal, which is closely related to the previous Best Choice project, presents in a non-traditional way individual enterprise solutions related to SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises). Each firm can select its own field of business and examine what their normal working day would look like if they used suitable mobile and partner solutions from T-Mobile. Customers can also use the possibility to have an interactive electronic guide recommend to them a "turnkey" solution that would be suitable for their firm. The popularity of the pomahamepodnikat.cz portal can be judged from the fact that it was visited by more than 4,500 different visitors in just three months.
