Another planned shutdown scheduled for 10 – 13 February

In connection with an update of the customer care systems, T-Mobile is advising its customers of a planned shutdown of certain services, which is scheduled to take place from 8 p.m. on 10 February to midnight on 13 February. The shutdown will help, for example, to speed up the customer service system. During the period concerned, T-Mobile’s current services, including calls and text messages, will continue to work uninterrupted. During the shutdown, customers will have the possibility of activating data services in the Czech Republic and abroad on a limited basis; the operator therefore recommends that customers set up these services sufficiently in advance. During the shutdown, the operator will unfortunately be unable to receive and implement customer requests, such as activation of new services, changes to their settings, deactivation of services, and SIM card replacements, via the My T-Mobile self-service portal, automatic voice response system and SMS codes.

The Customer Centres, T-Mobile shops and partner shops will also operate on a limited basis. Assistants will be able to provide only basic information and process basic requests, such as card blocking due to loss or theft. The shutdown will also affect customers using the services of the virtual operators in the T-Mobile network (the virtual operators in the network of the former GTS, MOBIL.CZ, innogy Mobil and PREmobil) and Kaktus customers.

The operator requests that its customers change the current settings of their services or activate services that they wish to use in the shutdown period in advance. The migration to the new CRM system is a fundamental and necessary technological change that will help improve the quality of services provided to T-Mobile customers as well as introduction of new services.

Detailed information will be available soon on the website at www.t-mobile.cz/odstavka and in the My T-Mobile application.
