KAKTUS: NEW BRAND FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

Kaktus, a brand focused on young people, is coming
Customers can choose which services they want to use
Free access to Facebook, no commitments, per-second billing

Prague, 3 October 2013 – On 8 October 2013, T-Mobile will introduce a new brand – Kaktus (“Cactus”). The operator’s Managing Director, Milan Vašina, explains the reasons for its creation: “T-Mobile supports a number of external projects. This time, we have decided to support an internal project conceived by our employees. There is no strong brand for young people on the telecommunications market, so we are confident that it will be successful.”

Kaktus is intended for all young people who like to do things their own way. Everyone can decide whether they want to call, use data services or send text messages and set up their own plan based on their own requirements. They will be able to do so thanks to an offer of nine bundles that can be combined into a package of services that a particular user needs (see the table below). The bundles are always valid for 30 days from their purchase. If a customer does not use any bundle at a particular time, services are billed according to the basic plan, which offers calls at CZK 2.90 per minute (billed in one-second increments), text messages at CZK 1.50 and 1 MB of data at CZK 1.

Kaktus does not require any commitment; prepaid cards can be purchased on the website at www.mujkaktus.cz, at newsstands and at two T-Mobile shops (in the Černý Most shopping centre in Prague and the Galerie Vaňkovka shopping centre in Brno). Customers can manage their services by themselves easily on-line, via either the website or a mobile application. Live customer support is available at www.facebook.com/kaktus (Kaktus does not operate a classic customer service line).

Another benefit of the prepaid Kaktus card is free access to Facebook – no data is billed to customers for using this service. This benefit will be valid permanently for all SIM cards activated by the end of March 2014.
