  • The Jeviště album exclusively for CZK 99 on t-music.cz two weeks before the release of the CD

Prague 25 November 2009 - Kryštof are celebrating their fifteenth birthday. And T-Mobile will be there. In February next year, following the release of their new album titled Jeviště ("The Stage"), the band fronted by Richard Krajčo will set out on t-music Kryštof Tour 2010. Their fans will have an exclusive opportunity to buy the digital version of the album two weeks in advance on www.t-music.cz. The price for T-Mobile customers will be CZK 99 during the first month after the release; others will pay CZK 149.

Kryštof will debut their new songs at three major concerts. The tour will kick off on 19 February 2010 at Prague's Tesla Arena, followed by shows at the Brno Exhibition Grounds on 23 February and three days later at Ostrava's ČEZ Arena. Kryštof have chosen Xindl X as their opening act on the tour. All three shows will be album release parties.

"The new album is our best so far, with modern sound, rock and dance hits, various genres overlapping and a degree of playfulness," said Richard Krajčo, commenting on the band's latest release. "We want the tour to be a follow-up of the indoor Rubikon Tour. It'll be our big birthday party and also a presentation of the Jeviště album. We're going to try to be as connected with the audience as possible at the planned concerts. The set we'll be using on our tours is similar to a revolving stage."

Tickets via mobile phone from 1 December
All fans can now get a special Christmas present for their loved ones: a unique experience of the first live presentation of the album. The tickets are available immediately without waiting in line, as fans can simply order them at www.t-music.cz/krystof and then receive the ordered tickets directly on their mobile phones in the form of an MMS.

T-Mobile customers can enjoy the favourable price of only CZK 200 for each ticket, which is CZK 50 less than the price for customers of other operators. About Kryštof
The band was formed 15 years ago in Havířov as The Kryštof. Frontman Richard Krajčo, together with bassist Nikolaj Arichtev, are the only two members of the current line-up remaining from the early period. The definite article in the band's name was intended to ridicule Czech garage bands that were trying to make their way to MTV by singing in "perfect" English.

The year 2000, when the band's demo recording was played on Czech Radio in Ostrava and drew the attention of Monitor EMI, is considered to be its breakthrough year. The band made its debut with the Magnetické pole ("Magnetic Field") album and following that was declared to be the best new act on the Czech music scene.

In 2002, the band released its second album, titled V siločárách ("Within lines of force"), followed two years later by the Mikrokosmos ("Microcosm") album, for which the band won an Angel award from the Czech Academy of Popular Music. The band's last album, Rubicon, was released in 2006.
