Prague, 9 September 2009 - Today is a big day for all fans of Vypsaná fiXa. Since this morning, they can download the band's new album, Klenot ("Jewel"), from the t-music.cz portal. The album's price is determined by individual fans based on the "pay-as-much-as-you-think-the-band-deserves" principle. Fans can thus enjoy their favourite band's brand new songs as early as one month before the album's general release, without having to wait and for a price that they set themselves.

"I am glad that the innovation introduced along with the latest album by Wohnout was not forgotten and we can offer all fans a possibility to buy another album by a Czech band using the unique ?pay-as-much-as-you-think-the-band-deserves' model," says Michal Němec, Vice President Mobile Portal & Content Services at T‑Mobile, adding: "Given the tough times the music industry is now facing, it is necessary to find ways to get music to fans and motivate them to pay for it, which will allow artists to record new material."

Klenot is available at the t-music.cz portal in the MP3 format and without DRM protection, in superior quality of 320 kbps, including lyrics and a cover with a booklet. Customers can pay the price they set themselves in two ways - either via a Premium SMS or online using their debit or credit card.

The Pardubice-based band recorded its latest album, Klenot, in February and March in London. The album was engineered by Guy Fixsen (who has worked with the Pixies, My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive, to name just a few) and was produced by Jan P. Muchow and Dušan Neuwerth, with whom the band had successfully collaborated in the past. The album was mastered at the Metropolis studio in London under the supervision of Fixsen and Tony Cousins. The album will be released on 9 September 2009 at 9:09 a.m. at the t‑music.cz portal. Fans can thus download Klenot more than one month before its release in the form of a CD in brick-and-mortar shops, which is scheduled for 10 October.

However, T-Mobile did not only help release Vypsaná fiXa's new album in digital format but has prepared another special offer in cooperation with the band: subscribers to the BAV SE and BAV SE with Mých5 tariff plans intended for young people can enjoy free admission to any concert during the band's Klenot tour 2009. The tour will kick off in Prague on 23 and 24 September with two concerts and two launch parties for the new album. During the tour, the band will play concerts in 13 Czech and Moravian cities, with the last show on 13 November in Jindřichův Hradec.

About Vypsaná fiXa
Vypsaná fiXa is a popular Czech pop-punk band formed in 1994 in Pardubice by former members of the band K.R.K. Vypsaná fiXa's trademark is interesting, poetic and often surreal lyrics written by the band's frontman, Michal Mareda, a.k.a Márdi. His songs draw inspiration from William Saroyan and Gabriel García Márquez. However, the band's biggest inspiration has always been the Pixies. Vypsaná fiXa is mainly a touring band, playing around 100 concerts a year all over the Czech Republic as well as abroad (Poland, Germany, Holland, Italy). The band is also a sought-after headliner at summer festivals.
