T-Mobile CZ achieves Best Roaming Experience in Europe

T-Mobile Czech Republic achieved the best roaming experience among Czech operators in Europe. Based on Opensignal‘s analysis of Excellent Consistent Quality of mobile roaming services T-Mobile demonstrates its ability to provide the best customer roaming experience in Europe. The independent testing, which was conducted in 26 European countries, is based on the Opensignal Excellent Consistent Quality (ECQ) score calculated among Czech Opensignal users during roaming from March 1, 2024 to March 28, 2025.

T-Mobile achieved the best results in the ECQ metric, which evaluates measures how often users’ experience on a network was sufficient to support common applications and more demanding applications, such as HD video, complete group video conference calls and play games. In the research of 26 European destinations, these included – Croatia, Germany, Greece, Poland, Slovakia and Spain – T-Mobile recieved multiple No.1 results for our excellent consistent quality metric compared to other Czech operators.

In February this year, T-Mobile received the award for the Best Mobile Network in Czechia in an independent study by Opensignal, which it won in the key categories: consistently best network quality, coverage experience and download speed. "We are constantly working to improve our mobile network and regularly invest in modernizing its infrastructure to provide the best experience for our customers. At the same time, we ensure that our customers can rely on a top-notch network even during their business or private trips abroad throughout Europe. That is why we are pleased that this has been confirmed by the latest independent analysis of roaming services," says Vladan Peković, CTIO at T-Mobile Czech Republic.

Opensignal collects data every day from billions of measurements from different research participants, different demographics, devices and network conditions. The data collection process is automated, ensuring constant testing in places people, work, live and play. This is recorded during the normal operation of mobile devices "in the background". The accuracy of the measurement is ensured by common internet servers such as Google, Akamai or Amazon CDN, which provides a truly representative view of the network experience, without the possibility of influencing the results of independent measurement in any way.

Opensignal's data focused on the Excellent Consistent Quality of customers from three major Czech mobile operators during one year from 1 March 2024 to 28 March 2025.
