t-music Majáles 2011 welcomes music fans

  • Contest to win three iPhone 4s and 50 other prizes
  • Special offer for T-Mobile customers free beer when ordering tickets via mobile phones

Prague, 21 April 2011 – T-Mobile is the general partner of open-air festivals organised under the name of t-music Majáles 2011. Music fans can thus look forward to concerts of leading Czech bands such as Vypsaná Fixa, Divokej Bill, Wohnout, Chinaski, Tata Bojs and Skyline. When using their mobile phones to purchase tickets, T-Mobile customers will get a free beer at the event.

The festivals feature a rich music programme and will take place in four different cities: on 22 April in Hradec Králové, 29 April in Brno, 30 April in Plzen and 6 May in Prague. Festival-goers can save up to 20% off the price of tickets by purchasing them in advance.

A number of attractive accompanying activities will be organised as part of the festival, such as the SMS contest to win more than fifty attractive prizes, which started on Monday, 18 April. The grand-prize winner will get an iPhone 4 with the Bav se plan for one year free of charge; second- and third-place winners will receive an iPhone 4 and a Twist card with CZK 400 credit. The other fifty winners can look forward to receiving a CD by the Czech band Chinaski, quality T-shirts or baseball caps.

Visitors will have the possibility to use the handy “Festival Lockers” service, so they needn’t worry about their valuables, personal identity documents, keys, clothes and backpacks, thus giving greater comfort and peace of mind during the event. For T-Mobile customers, the service will be available free of charge; others will pay a CZK 50 fee.

Another fun, interesting activity to make the visit to the festival more entertaining will be 24-hour Majáles weddings, a fun ceremony during which any couple can get married for 24 hours. Naturally, this will be just a trial marriage with no legal commitments.

The rules of the contest to win an iPhone are very simple: to enter the contest, contestants need to send an SMS with MAJALES START to 900 11 03. They will then start receiving quiz questions to which they must respond as quickly as possible. The point is to achieve the shortest time between receiving a question and responding to it, which gives contestants who join the contest later a chance to win too. One SMS costs CZK 3 incl. VAT. The contest ends on 6 May 2011; winners will be notified via a text message.
