A millionaire for the whole weekend

  • Are you fond of playing games? If so, you can become a millionaire!
  • The competition takes place from 5 September to 5 November
  • Daily and monthly prizes plus a grand final competition for a millionaire's day

Prague, 4 September 2006 - Many of you might have dreamt of what it means to be very, very rich. How do Bill Gates, Paris Hilton, and Madonna actually live? They surely must be dining in the best restaurants where the nervous staff must always address them as "madam" or "sir", they are accommodated in the most luxurious hotels, driven in limousines with their own drivers, and they look down in a haughty manner on the rest of us. Well, from now on, everybody who wants to experience the life of the super-rich can really do so - in a competition called Millionaire, which T-Mobile launched on 5 September 2006.

The most exciting part of competing for a millionaire's day consists of daily and weekly rounds and eventually a grand finale. Gaining access to the game requires downloading one of the ten Java games that the competition is based on. If it is not enough for a customer to compete for the daily or weekly prize and he or she wants to participate in the final round of the competition, then immediately after downloading their chosen game it is necessary to send an SMS in the form of "MILIONAR Smith xx" where the xx is the number representing an answer to the question "How many Java games have we offered to customers since the launch of t-zones?" This SMS should be sent to the number 736 300 008. Each contestant can try his or her luck repeatedly; all that is needed is to download another game.

If customers are not lucky in the daily round, nothing is lost yet because each player automatically proceeds to the weekly round where they play for a Sony PSP game console. And even if they don't win that time, they can still win the grand prize - the millionaire's day. The winner of the grand prize will be announced on 5 October.

The cost of sending the above mentioned SMS to the 736 300 008 number depends on each customer's usual tariff rate. The games can be ordered for download via SMS, WAP, or the www.t-zones.cz website.

Every day a single customer will win a collection of Sonic Mega Collection games, while the weekly prize is the Sony PSP (a portable game console integrated with a music-file player and a film player). However, the most alluring prize is definitely the "millionaire's day", which the winner can spend with a friend or loved one.

What will such a day look like? Definitely very close to the following: the grand prize winner will be allowed to test the new Nokia N80 model while being driven around Prague in a luxury limousine, followed by lunch in a first-class restaurant. After lunch it will be time for something really exciting - why not a balloon flight or a ride in a Hummer? After dinner, again in a luxury restaurant, the winner will spend a night in the five-star Boscolo Hotel Carlo IV.

On the following day, the winner and his or her companion will start their Sunday program with breakfast in bed and then attend to their wellbeing with a massage, consultancy with a makeup artist, a hair stylist or a spa treatment. And a dinner in a top-quality restaurant will provide a pleasant finish of these beautiful experiences.
