Cheaper international calls for Twist users

Simplified offer of international calls for Twist users
Three zones (plus one for satellite calls) instead of the original 12
Calls to Germany and Austria cheaper by 56%, to Slovakia by 36%

Prague, 16 September 2014 – T-Mobile will simplify its offer of international calls for users of prepaid Twist cards by reducing the current 12 zones to three (plus one intended for satellite calls). The operator will also cut its rates for international calls. The new offer will be launched on 4 November 2014.

“In February this year, T-Mobile simplified the offer of international calls under the S námi tariff plans and reduced their rates,” says Milan Hába, Vice President Category and Products at T-Mobile, adding: “We will now offer a similar benefit to users of our prepaid cards.”

Simplification of the offer so that the zones comprise “Neighbouring Countries”, “Europe”, “World” and “Satellite Networks” will also bring cheaper calls to all destinations. For example, the price of calls to Slovakia will be reduced by 36%, to CZK 11/min. as compared with the previous rate of CZK 17.14/min. The decrease of rates for calls to Germany, Austria and Poland will be even more significant, with the per-minute calling rate dropping from CZK 25.11 to CZK 11, which is a 56% reduction.

According to the operator’s statistical data, its customers make the largest number of international calls to neighbouring countries: more than 60% of users’ international calls are directed to Austria, while 40% of international calls are made to Slovakia.
