ČNB Joins the Ranks of T-Mobile's Important Customers

  • The price of services was the decider in the tender

Prague, 10 September 2003 - Česká národní banka has recently become a new business customer of T-Mobile making it the latest renowned banking institution to sign a general contract with the mobile operator. T-Mobile scored a victory in the public tender thanks to an offer that for the announcer of the public tender means a significant reduction of costs while keeping the existing extent and quality of services. The contract was concluded for a period of five years.

ČNB had been using services of another mobile operator. "Upon careful consideration of offers submitted to the public tender, we decided to go with T-Mobile. Besides the price/performance ratio, our decision was determined by T-Mobile's open and very flexible approach and by the comprehensive offer of customer service," says Ing. Michael Šatra, Vice Director of the Administrative Division of ČNB.

"At the beginning, our new client will use particularly the voice and data services, including roaming. However, we have prepared an offer of other services for the future, such as the Private Virtual Network and GPRS Intranet," says Ing. Miroslav Rakowski, Executive Vice President Sales of T-Mobile.
