CPA Halo: handset (not only) for elderly people

  • Easy to use, oversized buttons, display with large letters
  • Special SOS button
  • Ideal when used in combination with the Where is... service

Prague, 13 July 2009 - At the beginning of the summer holidays, T-Mobile has extended its portfolio of handsets to include a handset by a Czech manufacturer, CPA Halo. This handset is easy to use and features oversized buttons, a large display and a special SOS button. These features will be certainly appreciated by elderly people, but they are equally important if you are looking for a handset for the youngest members of your family.

The most distinctive features of the handset include its clearly marked, 13 x 13 millimetres large buttons and an easily readable monochromatic display with 1 centimetre large letters. The backside features a large SOS button. After pressing this button, a speakerphone function is activated and the phone starts dialling four preset numbers and sending a text message to them. The telephone also sports an integrated flashlight and a FM radio.

The CPA makes an ideal combination with the Where is... service. This service can be activated free of charge and enables to show the location of the phone on the internet, via WAP or SMS.

The standard price of the phone is CZK 1,599 incl. VAT. When using any of the options available within the T-Mobile loyalty program, the purchase prices start at CZK 1.
